About the Role

Spartan Wellness is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Dietitians to join our growing virtual care team. In this role, you will support patients—primarily Veterans and First Responders—through evidence-based nutrition care, virtual counselling, and personalized dietary planning. This is a highly flexible, contractor-based role where you set your own schedule and define your caseload in collaboration with clients. We build the clinical pipeline for you, and you focus on delivering high-quality care. We are especially interested in candidates who are registered in more than one province, ideally:

- Ontario
- British Columbia
- Quebec (bilingual French/English is an asset)

️ What You’ll Do

- Conduct virtual nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide ongoing nutrition counselling and behavioural support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to support integrated patient care
- Support patients with meal planning, lifestyle changes, and chronic condition management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Deliver care aligned with evidence-based nutrition practices
- Build ongoing client relationships and determine follow-up frequency directly with patients

Compensation

- $45/hour contract rate
- Versatile caseload (no guaranteed hours)
- Income depends on clinical volume and provinces of practice

Who We’re Looking For

- Registered Dietitian in good standing in at least one Canadian province (multi-province registration strongly preferred)
- Experience or interest in virtual healthcare delivery
- Strong communication and patient-centred counselling skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience with Veterans, First Responders, chronic conditions, or mental health populations is an asset
- French language skills considered a strong asset

- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Virtual care platforms (telehealth)
- Microsoft 365
- Secure communication tools
- Scheduling and documentation systems
- Nutrition analysis tools

Performance Expectations

- Timely completion of assessments (target: within 48 hours)
- High patient satisfaction (target: 85%+)
- Accurate and complete documentation (100% compliance)
- Strong patient engagement and adherence to care plans

Collaboration

You’ll work closely with:

- Nurse practitioners
- Social workers
- Case managers
- Administrative and operations teams
- External partners including Veterans Affairs Canada (where applicable)

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
- Active registration/licensure as a Dietitian in Canada
- Vulnerable sector check required
