Senior Technical Integration Lead – Enterprise Networking & Security (Client-Facing)

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Integration Lead – Enterprise Networking & Security is a client-facing technical leadership role responsible for driving the successful design, integration, and delivery of complex enterprise networking and security solutions for external clients. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, this role partners closely with client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and third-party vendors to translate business and security requirements into scalable, secure, and operationally sound solutions. The role blends deep technical expertise with solid consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills, ensuring client confidence from solution design through implementation and transition to operations.

Key Responsibilities

Client-Facing Technical Leadership

- Serve as the primary technical integration lead for enterprise networking and security engagements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client technical and executive stakeholders, guiding architectural decisions and trade-offs.
- Lead client-facing design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical deep dives.
- Clearly articulate risks, dependencies, constraints, and recommendations in business-relevant language.

Solution Architecture & Integration

- Architect and integrate end-to-end enterprise networking and security solutions across:
- On‑premises
- Hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Ensure tight integration between:
- Network connectivity (LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, cloud networking)
- Security controls (firewalls, zero trust, segmentation, monitoring)
- Validate solution designs against client requirements, security standards, and operational models.
- Align solutions to industry best practices and security frameworks (Zero Trust,



Defense-in-Depth).

Delivery & Execution Leadership

- Lead technical delivery across multiple workstreams, vendors, and client teams.
- Own the technical integration plan, including sequencing, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical oversight during build, migration, and cutover phases.
- Act as final escalation point for complex technical issues impacting client outcomes.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

- Collaborate with client:
- CIO/CDO organizations
- Network, Security, and Infrastructure teams
- Risk, Compliance, and Architecture groups
- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and service providers to ensure aligned delivery.
- Support client governance forums including technical steering committees and design authorities.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

- Ensure solutions meet contractual, regulatory, and security obligations (e.g., ISO, SOC, PCI, HIPAA where applicable).
- Contribute to security risk assessments, architecture assurance, and audit support.
- Promote secure-by-design principles throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Consulting & Commercial Support

- Support pre-sales and solution shaping activities, including:
- Technical discovery and assessments
- Solution validation
- Effort and complexity estimation
- Contribute to proposal responses and client presentations where advanced technical credibility is required.




- Identify opportunities to reuse reference architectures and standard patterns to reduce delivery risk and cost.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 10+ years in enterprise networking and/or security roles (engineering, architecture, or technical leadership).
- 5+ years leading complex, client-facing technical integrations in large enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience acting as a primary technical contact for external clients.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience working in regulated, high-availability, or mission-critical client environments.

Enterprise Networking

- Enterprise LAN/WAN design, routing and switching (BGP, OSPF)
- SD‑WAN platforms (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware)
- Load balancing (F5, cloud-native services)
- Cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Network segmentation and traffic engineering

Enterprise & Cloud Security

- NGFW platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point)
- Zero Trust, SASE, and secure access architectures
- IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP
- Identity and access integration (IAM, MFA, RBAC)
- Cloud security architecture and controls

Integration & Operations

- Monitoring and observability (SIEM, NDR, NPM)
- Automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible – working knowledge)
- ITSM processes and operational transition models
- Incident response and production support experience

Leadership & Consulting Skills

- Strong executive presence and client communication skills
- Ability to influence decisions without formal authority
- Clear, concise documentation and architecture storytelling
- Risk-aware decision-making with client impact in mind
