Principal Accountabilties:

- Acts as site MIS representation – supporting employees on software problem solving.
- Provides transactional / process support for all sites for business systems which may include JD Edwards
- Training on business software which may include JD Edwards, EDI and Transform(forms software)
- Analyse business processes and decisions in order to make improvements
- Identify and assist in the re-engineering, improvement or replacement of existing business processes and associated technology.
- Document, examine, and manage business requirements on projects. This involves managing business requirements sessions, conducting interviews and accessing existing documentation.
- Understand relationships and facilitate the communication between the business and technology areas.
- Coordinate and facilitate business requirements gathering sessions, gap analysis, risk assessment and business requirements validation
- Translate the business requirements into functional requirements. Ensure traceability and understanding of the requirements by all project/support members to enable systems enhancements /projects to be constructed




- Participate in Project Management activities such as managing the delivery of projects through initiation, estimating, work planning, analysis, design, constructions, deployment and post-project review

Unique Knowledge & Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of business experience in systems
- College degree or equivalent
- Extensive experience with an integrated operating system: JD Edwards preferably
- Excellent computer literacy - including Excel, SQL
- Customer and results focused: ability to work with internal clients to understand and act based on their needs and achieve a valued result.
- Possesses solid analysis, organization and problem solving skills.
- Consistently builds and maintains relationships within IT and with internal clients.
- Adaptable: maintains effectiveness while managing competing demands, dealing with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Documentation: writes logically and concisely ensuring meaning is clear and presented in a way that meets the user's needs. When creating documentation uses plain language, proper grammar and sentence structure.
