This is a 5 month contract for a Financial Institution. We are seeking an ESG Auditor to evaluate and strengthen the bank’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. This role will assess compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, while supporting the integrity of ESG reporting and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct audits of ESG-related policies, processes, and controls across the bank.
- Assess compliance with ESG regulations, frameworks, and internal standards.
- Review ESG disclosures and reporting for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify gaps, risks, and control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and sustainability teams.
- Monitor evolving ESG regulations and industry best practices.




- Prepare audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Experience in audit, risk, or compliance within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to ESG and sustainability.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Qualified certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, or ESG-related credentials).
- Experience auditing non-financial or sustainability data.
- Familiarity with ESG data systems and reporting tools.
