We are partnering with a high-growth, well-established Canadian organization to find a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to support a agile and evolving business. This is a newly created role focused on driving strategic insights, supporting investment decisions, and improving overall financial performance across the organization.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, working closely with senior leadership to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding the “why” behind the numbers and influencing key business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
- Support long-range planning and strategic financial initiatives
- Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed financial modeling (DCF, NPV, scenario analysis)
- Analyze business performance and identify key drivers impacting results
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and business leaders to support decision-making
- Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations
- Build and maintain dashboards to track performance and key metrics
- Leverage data and analytical tools to generate forward-looking insights
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, or strategic analytics
- Experience supporting business strategy, planning, or investment decisions
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build models from scratch
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with SQL is strongly preferred
- Exposure to data tools such as Python, R, or similar is an asset
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial insights to outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal direction
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or MBA) is preferred
- Based in the GTA with the ability to work in-office on a hybrid schedule
