Manufacturing Machine Operator / Technician (Entry-Level Growth Role)

South Surrey, BC | Full-Time, Monday–Friday Shift: 6am – 2:30pm

At TAG Hardware, we’re hiring a Machine Operator / Technician who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow into a fully capable operator. If you bring the right attitude and work ethic, we’ll provide the training.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manufacturing & Plant Manager, this role supports day-to-day production by operating and learning a range of manufacturing equipment.

This is a hands-on, learn-as-you-go opportunity with room to grow into a skilled technician role over time.

What You’ll Do

- Learn to safely set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment
- Support operation of cutting saws, grinders, profile wrappers, and slitting equipment
- Assist with machine start-ups, material loading, and basic adjustments
- Follow daily production schedules and standard operating procedures
- Inspect, package, and move finished goods
- Maintain quality standards and escalate issues as needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe (5S)




- Support inventory counts and material flow across production
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team success

What You Bring

- Manufacturing or hands-on experience is an asset (not required)
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools/equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Basic math and reading skills (work orders, labels, procedures)
- Reliable, team-oriented mindset
