This is an IT Systems Manager role with a well-established industrial company, located in the Langley/Aldergrove area. If you are an experienced IT skilled living in the Fraser Valley, then this could be a great role for you.

In this IT Systems Manager role, you will be responsible for managing a wide scope of systems, servers, networks and software applications. Information security will also be an important part of this job.

This company has several industrial plants across the lower mainland and across Western Canada. The IT team operates out of the Langley office, and there may be some travel between the various locations from time-to-time. So you should have a BC Drivers License and access to a vehicle for this role.

In this role, you’ll work primarily on-site at the Langley office between Monday and Friday, together with the other members of the IT team.

As a senior member of the IT team, you will be involved in decision making and planning for tools and technologies. You will also share your knowledge, by coaching and mentoring other members of the IT team.

This is a full-time position, and includes a competitive base salary, paid vacation and extended health and dental benefits.

Requirements

- You bring five or more years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator, along with some people leadership experience
- You enjoy working in-person in an industrial office environment, together with your colleagues
- You have broad IT experience related to servers, networks, security and applications
- You have experience with industrial systems, manufacturing systems, inventory, supply chain, etc.
- You enjoy coaching and mentoring other members of the IT team
- You live in the Fraser Valley, and you have a BC Drivers License and access to a vehicle
