Description:

- Ensure Accessibility standards are met (AODA)

- Ensure Ontario Design System (ODS) standards are met

- Developing and maintaining system design models, program codes, technical documentation, and specifications

- Ensure development of application solution is implemented and in accordance with the business requirements

- Designing, developing, and implementing web applications that work across modern browsers and various platforms and mobile devices

- Conducting research and assessment of options for technical design issues

- Contributing to design/development project plans, including work breakdown and resources estimates

- Assist with data validation testing

- Assist and ensure unit testing meets expected functionality requirements

- Support User acceptance testing, defect management

- Ensuring compliance with architecture framework and system standards, and Agile Development Methodology

- Leading-edge technologies, design criteria including usability, security, and privacy for web and mobile applications

- Knowledge transfer and documentation as prescribed by the Project Manager and Manager

- Developing and maintaining system design models, program codes, technical documentation, and specifications

- Ensure development of application solution is implemented and in accordance with the business requirements.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Skill Set Requirements:

Public Sector Experience:

- 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically in maintaining and supporting systems such as Long-Term Care, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Hospital Information Systems (HISs), Clinical Assessment tools, and Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS) compliant





- Knowledge of personal health information protection legislative requirements and how they apply to developing and maintaining healthcare systems containing personal health information, preferred

Technical Expertise and Guidance:

- 10+ years’ experience with Solutions development

- Experience with the privacy and security requirements or software development in a health context, or equivalent

- Demonstrated knowledge of leading technical design, security and recovery procedures for application development

- Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies

- Demonstrated understanding and experience with the use of information retrieval packages using query languages

- Experience in producing reports and conducting unit testing and application integration testing

- Experience with one or more communications protocols

Development Skills:

- Experience with Vlocity platform capabilities, including Flex Cards, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, Calculation Matrices and Procedures, Omni Scripts, Vlocity Data Model, and Salesforce.com Lightning Web Components

- Experience on Integration: Salesforce with Internal Applications

- Should have explicit understanding on Security settings, governor limits, platform limitations

- Experience with Data migration

- Experience in Creating Reports and Dashboards





- Experience in using source control tolls (Git Lab), creating branches, pull request

- Good experience in implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) preferably worked in Salesforce implementation project

- Should be comfortable working in Agile – epics, user stories, features, story points, etc.

- Familiar with any offline solution: E.g., pulsar

- Knowledge on Mule Soft is a plus

- Knowledge on Experience/Community Cloud is a plus

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Strong consulting skills to engage with all stakeholders

- Demonstrated experience monitoring progress, resolving problems and reporting regularly to business and I⁢ management decision-makers

- Demonstrated experience developing and/or supporting the development of training and communication materials in support of large system implementations

- Demonstrated team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Proven and demonstrable troubleshooting and analytical experience

- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and resolving any problems, issues, or concerns with systems applications, hardware, software, or telecommunications

- Experience with providing application fixes to support the user acceptance testing and deployment activities

- A motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and creative team player with perseverance, excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities, and a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines

- Testing and deployment activities.
