Job Title: Accident Benefits Paralegal (SABS)

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

A growing legal practice is seeking an experienced Accident Perks Paralegal to join its remote team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can independently manage files from intake through to settlement while working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Accident Benefits (SABS) files from start to finish, including intake, documentation, and settlement
- Prepare and submit OCF forms (e.g., OCF-1, OCF-3, OCF-18) in compliance with regulations
- Communicate with clients, insurers, adjusters, and medical providers
- Review and organize medical records and insurer correspondence
- Track deadlines, respond to insurer requests, and maintain accurate file records
- Assist with settlement negotiations and preparation of settlement packages

Qualifications

- Minimum 3+ years of experience handling SABS files
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Accident Benefits (O. Reg. 34/10)
- Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency in legal software and document management systems
