This role is strictly focused on Project Management and Executive Leadership. You will be supported by a dedicated internal IT and Applications team who will be working full-time on the technical execution (including implementation requirement triage and executing UAT). Additionally, you will be partnering directly with a 3rd party implementation vendor who is primarily handling the data conversion.
Your core focus will be orchestrating the project, managing the strategic roadmap, and keeping all technical teams—both internal and external—aligned. Crucially, you will own the high-level narrative of the project, ensuring senior leadership is constantly informed, aligned, and confident in the project's trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Reporting & Communications: Prepare, coordinate, and manage all high-level communications for senior executives. You will be responsible for presenting regular status updates, health checks, and strategic roadmaps to leadership.
- 3rd Party Vendor Coordination: Work closely with the 3rd party vendor's own project management resources and project team. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between their data conversion deliverables and our internal timelines.
- Project Leadership & Roadmap Management: Own the overall end-to-end project plan, timeline, and delivery of the Triovest-to-REMS Yardi unification project, harmonizing multiple work streams.
- Internal Team Orchestration: Partner with the dedicated internal IT & Apps team,
ensuring they have transparent priorities for requirements gathering, triage, and UAT testing.
- Risk Mitigation & Escalation: Identify potential roadblocks in the implementation process across all teams, develop proactive solutions, and strategically escalate critical issues to the executive team when necessary.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Heavy ERP Implementation Experience: Proven track record of leading large-scale ERP or complex system implementation projects as a dedicated Project Manager.
- Vendor Integration Experience: Demonstrated ability to co-manage projects alongside external vendor PMs and integrated project teams.
- Executive Presence: Highly polished communication skills with a proven ability to distill complex technical milestones into clear, business-focused roadmaps for C-suite and executive stakeholders.
- Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Experience: Strong understanding of the commercial real estate industry and related business processes.
- Leadership/Orchestration: Experience leading cross-functional technical teams where the PM delegates the hands-on technical work but owns the delivery and accountability.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Yardi Experience: Direct experience implementing or managing projects within the Yardi ecosystem (highly preferred, but strong overarching ERP implementation experience will be considered).
