Vision Talent's client is a leading financial institution located in downtown Toronto. They are seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to join their team.

This is a contract role with an initial 6 month term, and is hybrid with 3 days/week required downtown.

Lead Developer, Salesforce Platform

As a Lead Developer for the Salesforce Platform you will play a key role in the implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud as the new WMC CRM platform. You will provide technical leadership, contributing to solution design, supporting developers, and ensuring the platform is implemented in a scalable and maintainable way.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. This role balances hands-on development with team leadership, planning, and cross-team collaboration within an agile delivery workplace on the Salesforce Lightning Platform.

What will you do?

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers across the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud platform, including code reviews, solution guidance, and mentoring.
- Assess business requirements and technology options to design scalable solutions that leverage CRM product capabilities.




- Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to refine requirements and ensure delivery aligns with business needs.
- Plan and prepare upcoming work for the team, ensuring stories are ready and dependencies are addressed in Jira.
- Support the team through technical research, collaboration with other teams, and resolving complex development challenges.
- Contribute to development on the Salesforce platform when needed, focusing on complex or high-impact areas.
- Promote Salesforce development best practices and support Dev Ops processes to improve delivery efficiency.

Must Have Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with
- 5+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform delivering on large projects/programs.
- Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and Salesforce data model.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, and/or Service Cloud architecture.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using Mule Soft, REST APIs, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Strong background in web technologies such as Java, C#, HTML, XML, and Java Script.
