Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description:

- AWS Certification one or more
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Professional
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
- AWS Certified Security Specialty preferred
- 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or Dev Ops
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation, and Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Cloud Formation
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell

Preferred Skills

- Experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, networking, VPN, and Direct Connect
- Exposure to microservice architecture and serverless computing
- Understanding of cost management and Fin Ops principles
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive cloud strategy
- Adaptability to work in fast-paced agile environments
