Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Perioperative | Contract Opportunity

Are you an experienced LPN with a strong background in perioperative care? This is an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a fast-paced surgical environment while exploring beautiful Surrey, BC.

We are currently seeking skilled Travel LPNs to support perioperative services in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Role Overview

As a Perioperative LPN, you will play a key role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring secure, efficient patient care before, during, and after procedures. This role is ideal for nurses who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in high-acuity environments.

Contract Details

Start: ASAP (flexible based on availability)

Duration: 8–12 weeks (with potential extension)

Schedule: Full-time hours (rotational shifts as required)

Location: Surrey, British Columbia

What You’ll Do

Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care

Support surgical teams during procedures within LPN scope

Prepare and maintain sterile environments and equipment

Monitor patient status and report changes promptly

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems





Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

What You’ll Bring

Active LPN license in good standing (BCCNM)

Proven perioperative / OR experience

Current BLS certification

Strong clinical and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Experience

Operating Room (OR) / Surgical Services

Pre-op and Post-op care

Sterile processing knowledge
