The Project is in an advanced stage of environmental assessment and technical evaluation, with ongoing efforts focused on strengthening baseline datasets, supporting permitting and optimizing project design.

Role Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a focused and technically driven team where your contributions will directly support environmental assessment, permitting, and project development. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing environmental baseline programs and ensuring high-quality, defensible data collection to support regulatory approvals.

The Environmental Coordinator will functionally report to the Site Manager on a day-to-day safety basis, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Environmental, Social, and Governance Affairs (ESG) for assignment of responsibilities and weekly tasks. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of environmental baseline data collection programs, with a strong focus on contractor management, field safety, budget control, scheduling, and quality assurance.

A combination of Vancouver office-based coordination and regular travel to the project site in Likely, Central British Columbia near Williams Lake. A adaptable work arrangement may be considered, with periodic field rotations during peak data collection seasons. The position will transition to either a 14 on / 14 off or 7 on / 7 off schedule once activities warrant consistent coverage at the project site





Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee environmental baseline field programs (e.g., hydrology, hydrogeology, water quality, fisheries, wildlife, vegetation, and geochemistry);
- Manage environmental consultants, including: scope development, budget tracking and cost control schedule adherence, and quality assurance and deliverable review;
- Ensure all field activities are conducted in compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations;
- Provide field oversight and leadership to ensure safe execution of work programs, including participation in safety meetings, audits, and incident reviews;
- Review and validate baseline data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory defensibility;
- Coordinate logistics for field programs, including access, equipment, and site support requirements;
- Support integration of baseline data into environmental assessment and permitting processes;
- Maintain organized records and databases for environmental monitoring and baseline data;
- Identify risks to program execution and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget;
- Collaborate with internal technical teams (engineering, permitting, and project development) to align field programs with project needs;
- Support development of technical reports and regulatory deliverables;
- Demonstrated strong leadership, organizational,



and problem-solving skills;
- Participate in engagement with Indigenous groups and stakeholders, as required;
- Travel regularly to site to ensure strong alignment between field teams and corporate objectives.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a related natural resources field;
- Minimum +5 years of relevant experience in environmental field programs, preferably in mining or large infrastructure projects;
- Strong understanding of environmental baseline requirements for environmental assessment in British Columbia and Canada;
- Demonstrated experience managing environmental consultants and multidisciplinary field programs;
- Familiarity with applicable legislation (e.g. Federal Impact Assessment Act, provincial Environmental Assessment Act, Mines Act, Water Sustainability Act, Fisheries Act, MDMER) and in-depth knowledge of environmental baseline data collection methodologies;
- Proven ability to manage consultants and field programs;
- A commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement as well as proven experience in health and safety management matters in field environments;
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical teams;
- Strong technical writing, data management, and QA/QC skills;
- Proficiency with environmental data management systems and GIS tools is an asset;
- Professional designation (e.g. R.P. Bio., P. Geo., P. Ag., EP) or eligibility for registration is preferred;
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote field locations;
- Self motivated, confident, and demonstrated ability to work independently and/or within a group
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
