The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join the Vancouver team, focused on winning new business across Air & Ocean Freight.
This role is suited to a true hunter, someone who thrives on building a pipeline from scratch, opening doors, and converting opportunities into long-term revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across Air & Ocean freight services
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking
- Identify and target key verticals and strategic accounts across the Vancouver market
- Lead RFQs/RFPs, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
- Work closely with operations and product teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and GP targets
- Maintain CRM discipline and accurate forecasting
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in freight forwarding sales (Air & Ocean)
- Strong hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Existing network within the Vancouver / Western Canada market is highly advantageous
