28640; About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Guidewire Policy Center Developerwith deep, hands-on expertise in Policy Center configuration, customization, and development. This is a purely hands-on engineering role, requiring ownership of end-to-end delivery across product model, underwriting rules, UI, data model, and integrations.

You will play a key role in delivering production-grade Policy Center enhancements, supporting insurance product lifecycle management, and ensuring system scalability, accuracy, and compliance.

28188; Key Responsibilities

1. Policy Center Configuration & Customization

1. Design, configure, and enhance Guidewire Policy Center solutions

2. Perform hands-on work across:

3. Product Model

4. UI (PCF Screens)

5. Data Model (entity extensions, schema updates)

6. Configure coverages, exclusions, conditions, modifiers, and terms aligned with business requirements

7. Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices

2. Product Model & Line of Business Support

1. Create, modify, and maintain insurance products within Policy Center

2. Support Personal Property Line of Business, including:

3. Policy lifecycle events (issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, rewrites)

4. Enable smooth rollout of current products without regressions

3. Underwriting Rules & Business Logic

1. Develop and manage underwriting rules using Gosu

2. Implement eligibility, risk evaluation, and underwriting issue logic

3. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

4. Ensure correct behavior across all policy lifecycle stages

4. UI, Data Model & Integrations

1. Develop UI components using PCF and Gosu

2. Perform data model enhancements:

3. Entity extensions

4. Field additions

5. Schema updates

6. Maintain data integrity and ensure systems are integration-ready

5. Validations, Error Handling & Quality

Implement validations and error-handling mechanisms

2. Troubleshoot and resolve defects across environments

3. Support:

4. Unit Testing

5. System Testing

6. Regression Testing

7. Deliver releases with zero high/critical defects

6. Forms & Documents

1. Configure and maintain Policy Center forms

2. Develop current forms aligned with:

3. Business rules

4. Regulatory compliance

5. Ensure correct triggering within workflows

7. Rating Configuration

1. Configure rating logic, including:

2. Rate tables

3. Calculation logic

4. Rating rules

5. Ensure accuracy and consistency of rating outputs

8. Collaboration & Technical Leadership

1. Work closely with:

2. Business Analysts

3. Product Owners

4. QA Teams

5. Architects

6. Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and solution planning

7. Mentor junior developers

8. Own deliverables from design to production deployment

✅ Required Skills & Experience

1. 6+ years of Guidewire development experience(Policy Center-focused)

5. PCF (UI development)

6. Guidewire Studio

7. Product Model configuration

8. Proven experience delivering:

9. Product model updates

10. Coverage and UI changes

11. Data model extensions

13. Validations & error handling

14. Forms configuration

15. Rating configuration

16. Strong understanding of:

17. Insurance policy lifecycle

18. Policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, rewrites

19. Ability to independently analyze requirements and deliver solutions end-to-end

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

2. Or equivalent hands-on professional experience

3. Proven experience working on production Policy Center implementations
