We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who thrives on transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights. This role sits at the intersection of data, product, and business strategy, supporting platform initiatives through deep analytics, KPI tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong expertise in SQL (advanced querying required, experience with data warehouse ELT tools like Snowflake))
- Experience with Power BI and/or Looker
- Proven ability to translate data into business insights and measurable impact
- 5+ years of experience in large data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Robust skills in data querying and manipulation with SQL, and proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and modeling. Experience with data warehouse ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Snowflake).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and impactful dashboards. Familiarity with AWS, Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and modeling methodologies to drive in-depth data insights and support predictive analytics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to solve business problems using data
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and recommendations
- Track and report on KPIs and OKRs, ensuring visibility into performance metrics
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Looker, or similar tools
- Perform deep-dive analysis on user behavior, platform performance, and business impact
- Develop statistical models and forecasts to support decision-making
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting pipelines
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience in a SaaS or platform-based environment
- Exposure to product analytics or platform engineering teams
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field
