Project Director / Business Lead, ERP (Post-Go-Live & Phase 2)
About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic ERP Business Lead to take ownership of our Workday Financials setting following go-live and lead the next phase of transformation. This is a highly visible role at the center of a major enterprise initiative—connecting Finance, IT, and external partners to ensure the platform delivers meaningful, long-term business value. You’ll guide a large, cross-functional team, manage significant investment, and play a key role in shaping the future of our finance operations.
This is a 10-month contract position with a high likelihood of becoming permanent.
What You’ll Do
- Stabilize and Optimize Post-Go-Live: Lead issue resolution efforts by assessing root causes and determining the right path forward—whether through system enhancements or process improvements—while supporting executive decision-making
- Drive Phase 2 Delivery: Oversee the rollout of key modules including Payments, Projects, Procurement, and Adaptive Planning, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and strategic priorities
- Lead Teams and Partners: Manage a team of 20+ across multiple functions and work closely with implementation and QA partners to deliver against defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations
- Own Financial Performance: Take accountability for the program budget, providing ongoing forecasts and ensuring resources are deployed effectively to maximize return on investment
- Act as a Strategic Connector: Serve as the central point of coordination across stakeholders—including senior sponsors, audit, IT, and data teams—to resolve challenges and maintain momentum
- Enable Business Readiness: Partner with change management to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and prepared for upcoming enhancements and milestones
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementations, ideally including post-go-live optimization
- Strong foundation in Finance or Accounting, with working knowledge of FP&A; processes
- Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-wide initiatives from launch through stabilization
- Experience leading large, cross-functional teams across business and technology functions
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders
This is an opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role in a large-scale transformation—where your impact will be felt across systems, teams, and strategic outcomes.
