About Road Ally
Road Ally Corporation is a Winnipeg-based technology company on a mission to make every driver safer and more confident on the road.
Our app, Road Ally, is your driving companion built for the road. It is a peer-to-peer vehicle services platform that connects drivers with a growing network of vetted local Allies for whatever the road throws at them. That includes emergency on-demand services such as battery jump starts, flat tire changes, fuel delivery, lockouts, towing, and vehicle diagnostics, as well as scheduled preventative services through Road Ally Reserve — seasonal tire swaps, battery testing, road trip preparation, and car detailing, booked ahead and delivered to your location. Road Ally is live on the App Store and Google Play, operating across Canada and the US.
Role Description
As our Account Management Intern, you will be the primary relationship point for Road Ally's Ally network: the vetted service providers who power our platform. You will help onboard new Allies, support their day-to-day experience, and ensure they have everything they need to succeed. This is a hands-on role working directly with the founder.
What You'll Do
- Manage and nurture relationships with onboarded Ally accounts as their main point of contact
- Guide new Allies through the onboarding journey and ensure a smooth activation experience
- Monitor Ally account health and proactively flag issues to the team
- Collect structured feedback from Allies and surface insights to inform product and operations decisions
- Coordinate with partner service centres to support in-person vetting appointments
- Assist with outreach to prospective Allies via Linked In, Facebook, Google Maps, and direct channels
- Maintain accurate records using our internal tools including Google Workspace, Atlassian, and our admin dashboard
- Support seasonal campaigns and new market expansion initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; confident on the phone and via email
- Organized and dependable, able to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously
- A self-starter who thrives in a lean, fast-moving startup setting
- Comfortable with digital tools such as Google Workspace and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
- Genuine interest in the gig economy, mobility tech, or startups
Eligibility
This role is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only. Candidates must be based in Winnipeg, MB or able to reliably commute for hybrid work. Applications from international students and temporary residents will not be considered.
