We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Indirect Procurement Delivery team supporting R&D.; In this role, you will operate in a dynamic global environment, driving sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and delivering value across clinical and R&D-related; categories.

You will act as a key partner to business stakeholders, translating needs into effective procurement strategies while ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This role is hybrid in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute strategic and operational sourcing activities across R&D; categories
- Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance, risk, and cost optimization
- Drive contracting activities, including Confidentiality Agreements, Master Agreements, and Vendor Agreements
- Lead negotiations for budgets, contracts, and commercial terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global procurement teams to deliver projects and initiatives
- Support process improvement, automation, and content strategy enhancements
- Ensure compliance with relevant R&D; regulations (e.g., GCP)

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contracting
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and supplier management
- Exposure to pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies (e.g., CROs, IxRS, patient recruitment, imaging, etc.)
- Experience with procurement tools and e-sourcing platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Business-level fluency in English

- Understanding of R&D; procurement categories and regulations (GCP)
- Ability to act as an enterprise thinker and drive cross-functional collaboration

Expected Compensation Range:

50K-65 The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.

Canadian Experience Requirement:

No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
