- On and off-loading material off trucks. Verify all incoming shipments by comparing the purchase order to the packing slip and ensuring all goods are in acceptable condition
- Accurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges
- Receive / accept deliveries and store them properly within the warehouse
- Some additional duties involve assembly, pick / packing, stress relieving materials and using scales.
- Keep work area clean and organized, including breaking down boxes, taking out the discarded cardboard boxes in the cage to garbage bin outside.
Qualifications

- Experience working in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods

- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse
- Knowledge of shipping functions and needs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office: preferred but willing to train
- Inventory related knowledge
- Forklift experience: preferred but will train
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
- Personal accountability and integrity are paramount
- Knowledge of processing and preparing shipping documents: Packing slip, bill of lading, customs paperwork etc.
- Knowledge of UPS / Fedex / Purolator website
