Location Address: 44 King Street W 9th Floor- Hybrid – onsite 2-4x/week
Contract Duration: 6 months
Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE (higher chance of conversion if candidate is strong)
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)
Project: The Technology Program Office reports into the SPO and is responsible for the delivery of Global Corporate Functions Software Currency Initiatives. This includes Project/Program Management, Project Life-Cycle Planning, KPI Reporting and Advantages Realization. We provide an end-to-end view of all Global Strategic Programs and liaise with key IT Corporate Functions. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Project Manager will be leading the upgrade and remediation of core technologies within the Bank.
Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills:
1 8+ years’ experience managing technology projects working with high scale,
enterprise-wide projects – the candidate must have the ability to drive solution and delivery of project (legacy system upgrades)
2. previous experience with program budget/people management (relationship management with different stakeholders)
3. 5-7+ years of experience performing impact analysis and identify system interdependencies
4. 3+ years’ experience with delivery of technical solutions (e.g. data migration, server migrations)
5. 5+ years’ experience creating and delivering presentations using tools like MS Project, and manipulating data using Excel (V-lookups, charts, pivots, etc.)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Working in enterprise environments
•previous experience within Canadian Telecom or Insurance companies, or Canadian banks
• PMP Certification is an asset
Previous experience working on software initiatives (infrastructure and application migrations)
