About the Position

The company is seeking a Senior Geologist to join its corporate technical team. The candidate needs to have strong and solid knowledge and experience in mineral exploration, mine geology, and mineral project evaluation. This position will be working full time in our Vancouver head office and will collaborate across different functions and projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead multidisciplinary geological studies from geological fieldwork to exploration and drilling program design for diverse commodities and deposit types.
- Develop and interpret geological models based on exploration data, core logging, and assay results.
- Direct geological modeling and mineral resource estimation using advanced tools such as Micromine, Datamine, Leapfrog, Vulcan, and similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global standards.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of comprehensive technical studies (PEA, PFS, FS), producing technical reports that meet project objectives and industry standards, influence strategic project decisions.
- Serve as a Qualified Person/Competent Person, providing authoritative oversight for mineral resource disclosure across multiple jurisdictions.




- Work with external consulting firms to conduct research and due diligence, collect operations data, and prepare technical reports.
- Communicate and liaise with other functions across the company on projects and operations. Provide technical insights to the CEO and executive team to inform high-level project decisions and long-term planning.
- Develop and implement planning schedules, capital and operating cost estimates.
- Planning, budgeting, designing and overseeing drill programs and other exploration activities.
- Assist in evaluation of new projects, economic potential of mineral prospects, and existing deposits.
- Maintain and improve safety, health and environmental standards and practices.
- Support regulatory compliance and collaborate with permitting teams to integrate technical parameters into applications and ensure all designs comply with regulatory requirements.
- Integrate sustainability best practices into the mine development process, emphasizing community well-being.
- Mentor and develop talent, guiding junior and intermediate technical team members through technical reviews and career growth opportunities.
- Assist in creating and implementing department training and development programs.
- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

- 15+ years of post-degree experience with proven managerial experience in mineral exploration, geological modeling and mineral resource estimation.
- Strong knowledge of open pit and underground mining, mineral processing and tests, and mineral project evaluation such as cash flow modelling.




- Demonstrated leadership in drilling programs and operating mine site experience with direct involvement in geological data collection, validation, and integration into geology modelling and resource/reserve estimation, QAQC, grade control and reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economic Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Geoscientist (P. Geo.) registration in Canada.
- Strong computing skills and hands-on proficiency in Micromine, Datamine, Leapfrog, Mine Sight, Vulcan or similar platforms, Auto Cad, GIS and remote sensing technologies in addition to Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access).
- Ability to act as a Qualified Person/Competent Person, ensuring adherence to international best practices.
- Good working knowledge of NI 43-101, CIM Estimation of Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve Best Practice Guidelines, and CIM Definition Standards for MRMR.
- Solid experience in gold, silver, copper exploration and mining projects.
- English as working language, with fluency in Spanish, Mandarin or Russian is an asset
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good understanding of environmental and safety protocols in exploration and mining.

Working Conditions

This position will be a combination of field and office-based work; fieldwork may involve travel to remote locations, exposure to inclement weather and rough terrains with variable working hours and overnight stays. An ability to travel internationally is required.
