Production Support Analyst

Contract until end of October

Hybrid – 3x/week on-site (Downtown Toronto)

Insight Global is seeking a Production Support Analyst to support one of our largest banking clients. This is a contract role focused on providing Level 2–3 production support across cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The successful candidate will support AWS environments, production systems, and CI/CD pipelines while working closely with development and data teams.

Responsibilities

- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for applications, infrastructure, and databases in a cloud environment
- Monitor and manage production and deployment tasks through Service Now, ensuring SLA adherence
- Administer and support AWS environments, including ECS, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and related services
- Monitor system performance, availability, and usage using Cloud Watch, Signal Fx, Run Scope, and Splunk
- Provide 24/7 production support for critical applications
- Manage AWS access controls, security, and data integrity using IAM and KMS
- Monitor and optimize AWS costs; recommend and implement cost‑saving strategies
- Stay current with AWS feature updates and guide development teams on adoption and best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines and assist developers with deployments using Jenkins
- Automate operational tasks using Python scripting and Cloud Formation
- Maintain system documentation,



runbooks, and ensure documentation standards are met by development teams
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues or escalate when required
- Participate in disaster recovery (DR) exercises
- Support data pipelines and work with tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Looker
- Assist with project-based work including analysis, testing, development, and documentation
- Build strong working relationships with developers and business stakeholders
- Contribute subject matter expertise to technology roadmap and integration planning

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–5+ years of experience in production support, cloud operations, or system operations
- Strong hands-on AWS experience (Cloud Watch, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, IAM, KMS, RDS, Cloud Trail)
- Experience supporting serverless and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on experience with Splunk for logging and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking fundamentals
- Linux and Windows administration experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Python)
- Self-starter who can ramp up quickly in a fast-paced workplace
