JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct financial analysis and analyze existing data and reports to find areas of improvement
- Create ad hoc reports and perform miscellaneous projects, as needed
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with departments to facilitate the planning/reporting process.
- Work closely with the underwriting team to ensure that account management expectations are met
- Accurate and timely preparation of account security documents
- Review active files to ensure all essential underwriting and security information is current and updated
- Setup up recent account files in underwriting/accounting system
- Invoice all fees, bonds/policies and endorsements in accounting system
- Ensure all correspondence and underwriting information is properly filed
- Follow-up with brokers for outstanding underwriting information
- Other ad hoc tasks and reporting as requested
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical ability, very well organized and rigorous
- Prior experience with Applied/EPIC is an asset
- Must be technologically savvy and data-driven, including proficiency in Excel
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development including insurance courses and certifications
