Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Engineering

- Lead the conceptualization, detailed design, and analysis of nuclear-qualified pressure vessels,

heat exchangers, containment systems, and related components.

- Apply advanced nuclear and mechanical engineering principles to ensure compliance with ASME

Section III, CSA N285.0, and other applicable nuclear codes and standards.

- Develop and review mechanical, thermal, structural, and finite element models; perform design

calculations and simulations to validate integrity, performance, and safety margins.

Project Leadership & Coordination

- Provide technical leadership for multi-discipline engineering teams, coordinating activities across

design, drafting, fabrication, quality, and project management.

- Serve as a principal technical contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on design

intent, technical decisions, and deliverables.

- Lead design reviews, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure design packages are

complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.

Documentation & Compliance

- Prepare, review,



and approve engineering deliverables including specifications, calculations,

analysis reports, drawings, and design change documentation.

- Support regulatory submissions, audits, and nuclear quality assurance requirements, ensuring

full traceability and compliance with quality systems.

- Maintain rigorous engineering standards and documentation practices consistent with nuclear

safety culture and quality programs.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Drive improvements in design processes, tools, and methodologies to increase engineering

efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

- Mentor junior engineers and designers, support technical development, and contribute to the

advancement of engineering best practices within the organization.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related

discipline.
