Foresight Recruitment Group has partnered with a growing, family-owned real estate owner/operator to recruit a Portfolio Administrator for their corporate office in downtown Edmonton.

Your new role
As the Portfolio Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Portfolio Manager and several Property Managers across a portfolio of approximately 1,200 residential units.
This is a corporate-level position focused on administrative coordination, reporting, and operational support across multiple properties. This is not a tenant-facing role, and there is no direct interaction with tenants involved, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured, behind-the-scenes environment.
Key responsibilities include
Portfolio Administration & Operations
- Supporting the Portfolio Manager and Property Managers with day-to-day portfolio administration
- Managing purchase orders, invoice coding, and accounts payable coordination
- Assisting with collections tracking and follow-ups
- Supporting utility billings and chargebacks across the portfolio
- Preparing and organizing monthly reporting packages
- Maintaining accurate data within the property management system
- Assisting with process improvements and administrative workflow organization
Team Support & Coordination
- Acting as a key administrative support across multiple properties and teams
- Coordinating communication between internal departments and property teams
- Supporting operational initiatives and portfolio-wide projects
- Ensuring organization and structure across reporting and documentation

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within property management or a related field
- Exposure to accounting functions such as AP/AR, invoicing, or financial coordination
- Experience with property management systems such as Yardi (or similar) is a strong asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive attitude with the ability to support a fast-paced, growing portfolio
