Why do developers prefer Dark Mode?
Because light attracts people, and people lead to conversation.
If you thought that joke described you (avoiding human conversations), then DO NOT apply for this job.
But if you are outgoing, positive, energetic, loving life and genuinely enjoy being around people and solving problems, then you should keep reading because your life is about to become the envy of all your friends.
The People:
We have Gamers, Hikers, Boxers, and Bakers. We have Movie Buffs, Softballers, Old Souls, and Young-At-Hearts. We have Family people, Single people, Happy people. and even a dog. You will find a friend here. Even if no one else likes you, the dogs probably will.
The Hiring Process:

8. You tell everyone how amazing your life is now.
What You Get To Do:
As an Intermediate Software Engineer,
you will help build the foundation of how software is written by working closely with leadership to shape early frameworks, patterns, and workflows. You’ll use AI‑assisted coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development, then do the critical work of reviewing, refining, and standardizing that code so it is clean, maintainable, secure, and production‑ready. Your role centers on assisting in the development and documenting of structures, templates, and conventions that will become our standards for building software. Robust problem‑solving skills, curiosity, and a desire to grow into greater technical responsibility over time are key. Experience using AI tools to assist development and a willingness to help shape early standards alongside the team are far more important than having everything perfectly defined on day one.
Where will you be working? SITTING ALONE IN THE DARK CORNER OF YOUR BASEMENT WEARING SWEATPANTS AND EATING CEREAL FOR LUNCH. Just kidding - again if that describes you, do not apply for this position. This is a fun and friendly team environment. We are very collaborative and sociable here, and represent ourselves that way to our clients.
This is a part-time position with potential to become full-time in a short amount of time, and then have the time of your life.
- P.S. – Share this! Maybe this position isn’t a fit for you, but we bet you know someone else who would be interested!
