We are seeking a highly skilled and self‑directed Clinical Nurse Educator / Clinical Program Specialist (RN) to provide in‑service clinical, educational, technical, and training support within a defined region. This role requires minimal supervision and a strong ability to share best practices while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary work group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical, educational, and technical support related to assigned programs
- Deliver in‑service clinical education and skilled training to healthcare professionals
- Develop and present educational programs, materials, and presentations using adult learning principles
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert and clinical resource, sharing best practices within the team
- Effectively manage time, priorities, and regional responsibilities with minimal direction
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory, including occasional weekend travel
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of residence
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles
- Proven experience in public speaking and developing educational presentations/materials
- Proficiency in electronic communication and Microsoft Word and Power Point; knowledge of Excel is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
Preferred Memberships & Certifications
- Current membership in relevant professional organizations, such as:
- Association for Vascular Access (AVA)
- Infusion Nurses Society (INS)
