Job Title: Billing Representative

Location: Richmond Hill ON (On-site) / Waterloo ON

Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)

Position Summary

The Billing Representative plays a key role within the Billing Operations team, supporting Order-to-Cash processes with a focus on billing through third-party portals such as Ariba, Coupa, and Tungsten. This role ensures accurate invoicing, efficient portal management, and a robust customer experience while driving process improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage billing portal activities including vendor onboarding, portal registrations, and customer requests
- Handle portal-related escalations and ensure compliance with customer and legal requirements
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, Deal Desk, and Collections teams
- Support billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation activities to meet financial targets
- Identify process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal billing controls and policies
- Act as SME for billing portals and support integration projects

Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ years of experience in billing / Order-to-Cash processes
- Strong experience with billing portals (Ariba, Coupa, Tungsten, GEP, Taulia)
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and MS Access (reporting & data analysis)
- Experience in invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation




- Strong understanding of contracts and impact on billing & cash flow
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

- Experience in software or high-tech industry billing
- Exposure to automation and process improvement initiatives
- Experience working with global billing operations
