Business & Technology Integration – Business Analyst

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days per week on‑site at the client’s Toronto office

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Business & Technology Integration to support a large‑scale modernization initiative for a Retail Banking Information System (RBIS) platform. This role involves close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to analyze requirements, support agile delivery, and ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for the agile pod backlog
- Support the modernization of the RBIS platform, evaluating current‑state processes and defining future‑state solutions
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements aligned with agile SDLC practices
- Develop comprehensive business process models and documentation to support transformation initiatives
- Facilitate collaboration between business teams, technology teams, and external partners
- Research, synthesize, and analyze information to support decision‑making
- Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies; propose effective and scalable solutions
- Contribute to key team and cross‑team decisions, taking ownership of outcomes




- Provide guidance and share best practices with colleagues to strengthen analysis capabilities
- Support continuous improvement of BA methodologies, tools, and standards

Required Experience & Skills

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in large, complex programs
- Agile SDLC experience working with agile pods and backlog refinement
- Proven expertise in Business Process Analysis and Requirements Analysis
- Experience working with modern and legacy technology stacks, including:
- .NET full stack (REST APIs, Kafka, Angular/React, Java)
- Mainframe technologies (DB2, IMS, KXIMS)
- Ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively
- Strong documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have / Assets

- Banking or financial services experience, particularly Retail/Core Banking
- Experience supporting large‑scale platform modernization programs
- Understanding of AI concepts or AI‑enabled business processes

Work Arrangement

- Hybrid model: Minimum 3 days per week on‑site at the Toronto office
- Remaining days remote, based on team and project needs
