FTE- Full-Time/ Permanent Employment

Hybrid: 4 days in office per week (nonnegotiable)

On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for an IAM / ISAM Java Developer – Cloud & Federation for an intermediate role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

IAM / ISAM Java Developer – Cloud & Federation - Job Description:

The IAM / ISAM Java Developer – Cloud & Federation will be involved in enhancing and supporting the IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) platform. The role includes implementing federation protocols and developing Java-based microservices to support authentication and authorization functionalities.

IAM / ISAM Java Developer – Cloud & Federation - Responsibilities:

• Implement and support IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) features including WebSEAL configuration and federation protocols.

• Develop Java applications using Spring Boot and REST APIs.

• Collaborate across security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and support.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux/Unix systems, network fundamentals, and security configurations.





• Engage in policy scripting and mapping rules development for federation flows.

IAM / ISAM Java Developer – Cloud & Federation - Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience with IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM).

• Solid Java development experience with Spring / Spring Boot.

• Understanding of IAM fundamentals including SSO and MFA.

• Experience with Linux/Unix, HTTP/S, and network troubleshooting.

• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

IAM / ISAM Java Developer – Cloud & Federation – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA).

• Knowledge of API gateways and reverse proxy patterns.

• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms like Open Shift, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS/GCP.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.

• Banking/financial services domain experience with security compliance knowledge.
