Key responsibilities:
Contribute to month-end close: bank reconciliations, purchase cut-off, journal entries, accrual tracking, and rebate programs - Manage treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring and foreign exchange (FX) needs - Monitor merchandise purchases and validate vendor invoices - Participate in weekly payments (EFTs, wire transfers)
- Support financial audits - Track rebate programs with relevant departments - Maintain effective communication with finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Qualifications:
- CPA designation (or in progress)
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience (audit or industrial sector)
- Experience in distribution or manufacturing (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Solid communication skills; proactive and self-driven
- Ability to perform in a high-volume work environment
- Bilingualism required
