In Path Dental, a fast‑growing, patient‑focused practice in the heart of Clarkson (Mississauga/Oakville), is looking for an Experienced Dental Assistant (Level II) with leadership capabilities to join our team.

Office Hours (Availability Required)
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Tuesday: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Two Fridays per month: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Two Saturdays per month: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
Clinical (Chairside) – CDA II
- Provide high‑level chairside assistance for a wide range of procedures
- Take digital X‑rays and impressions
- Assist with Perio, Endo, Implants, and Laser dentistry (experience in these areas is a strong asset)
- Maintain high standards of infection control and operatory setup/breakdown
Leadership & Coordination
- Act as a clinical lead/point person for the assisting team
- Support training and onboarding of new staff
- Help coordinate daily flow between clinical and front desk
- Assist with treatment coordination: treatment plan discussions, scheduling, and follow‑ups
- Model excellent patient communication and service
Front Desk & Administrative Support
- Provide coverage for reception/front desk as needed
- Handle patient check‑in/check‑out with warmth and professionalism
- Process and follow up on insurance claims
- Use Tracker practice management software (experience is a big bonus)
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Dental Assistant Level II Diploma
- Minimum 5 consecutive years of experience in a dental office
- Proven ability to take initiative and show leadership (formal title not required, but experience leading, training, or coordinating is ideal)
- Strong chairside skills and clinical knowledge
- Valid CPR certification
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine, empathetic approach with patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable handling both clinical and administrative tasks
Assets
- Experience in Laser dentistry, Perio, Endo, and Implants
- Experience with Tracker practice management software
- Previous Manager or Treatment Coordinator experience
- Additional languages: Spanish and/or Portuguese
Compensation & Job Type
