Industry X IBM Maximo Technical Architecture Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to design and oversee the implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions for IBM MAS 9. As a Technical Architect, you will work closely with the rest of the Tech Arch team as well as cross functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that architectural designs align with business goals and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

- Non-functional requirements design/build/test
- Planning of Maximo (MAS9) disaster recovery test, coordinating the execution of the disaster recovery test with client and other vendors
- Environment planning, understanding dependencies / inter dependencies by working closely with client and other vendors
- Responsible for defining monitoring parameters of the Maximo application, including infrastructure, operational and security monitoring, and alerting
- Lead/guide onshore and offshore team members with some of daily activities
- Being able to support multiple teams including test, deployment, conversion, and change management in their setting's requirements or troubleshooting
- Tune JVMs and their parameters for better performance, JMS setup and tuning
- Work with client security team to remediate potential security vulnerabilities at web and application layer

Requirements
- Experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, Object structures, services, channels, etc.)
- Experience working in agile software development environments.
- Experience working on multiple projects and multi-tasking.




- Experience with Azure and DevOps.
- Experience in Maximo integration with other applications.
- Experience with database tuning, being able to read/analyze AWR reports and make recommendations. Must have solid experience with Maximo set up and configuration. Must know server clustering, load balancing, HTTP server configuration, and app server configuration.
- Must have the ability to manage and ensure the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in the assigned program.
- Experience with operating systems, networking, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with security (SSL, data encryption, system user accounts, directory servers).
- Experience with web protocols including HTTP, SMTP and LDAP.
- Knowledge of query languages like SQL/PLSQL.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, commerce or engineering.
