Qualifications:
- Graduate in Physiotherapy from a duly recognized university.
- Fully Registered and in good standing as a Physiotherapist in Nova Scotia.
- Minimum of 3 5+ years of clinical and administrative leadership experience in a rehabilitation clinic.
Key functions and responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessments and implement treatment plans for clients.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress and ensure quality improvement in the delivery of patient care.
- Manage financial and clinical performance metrics of the clinic.
- Communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders to achieve service excellence.
- Coordinate operational activities with the team and demonstrate a solid presence in the clinic.
- Engage in continuous learning, mentorship and skill development.
- Manage and resolve scheduling issues or changes that arise in the clinic.
- Play an influential role in nurturing a sense of ownership across the workforce, so employees feel empowered to use their judgment and experience to make sound decisions.
- Assist in recruitment and hiring of staff.
