We are currently looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Apparel Product Developer to join our team in Vancouver, BC.

As the Apparel Product Developer, you are taking ownership of fit, quality, and construction for mens and womensdenimstyles. Youanticipatechallenges,identifyroot causes, and implement solutions.Your ability to lead, innovate, and drive continuous improvement,ensuresthat everystylereflectsPurplescommitment to quality and excellence.

Responsibilitiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto:

- Producedetailedandaccurategarmenttechpacks,includingBOM,specifications,anddesigndetails.
- Specandevaluatefitsamplestodeterminecomplianceofmeasurements,workmanship,construction,washdirection,andfit.
- Maintainconstructionandfitconsistencyaccordingtobrandguidelines.




- Takepartinfittings,preparation,measuringandphotographingofprototypes,SMS,andPPSonandoffmodels.Takingdetailednotesoftherequiredfitandconstructioncorrectionsandconveyingcorrectionstofactories.
- Gradingandreviewinggradedspecs,andconveyingcommentsandcorrectionstovendors.
- Analyzeandcommunicatetheoutcomeoffittingsandconstruction,andwashcommentswiththeproductdevelopmentteamandvendors.
- LiaisewithinternationaldevelopmentteamsinChina,Japan,Europeandbeyondtosolveproblemsthroughoutthesamplingandproductionphases.
- Hasaproactiveapproachtoadvancingtechnicalandproductdevelopmentknowledgethroughmentorshipandtrainingfromotherproductdevelopmentteammembers.
- ResponsibleforfitsampleandPPSmanagementandorganization.
- Assistwithfabricandgarmentcaretestingasrequired.
- Assistwithcareandcontentlabelupkeepanddevelopment.
- FollowthegarmentfromSMSstatethroughproduction.
- Takeonspecialprojectsasneeded.

AdministrativeDuties:

- Updateandmaintainalllinesheets
- Organizedesignfiles,artwork,etc.
- Documentandorganizenewwashes,finishesanddyetechniques
- Maintainandorganizetrimlibraries
- Sortandarrangeallfabrichangersbyseasonandclassification

Abilities:

- Demonstratedabilitytomaintaintimelinesandmeetcriticaldeadlines.
- Demonstratedabilitytoworkeffectivelyinateamenvironmentandindependentlyastheprojectrequires.




- Attentiontodetail,initiative,organization,strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
- Abilitytomanagemultipletasksandcompetingpriorities.
- Self-motivatedandstrongproblem-solvingskills.
- Abilitytoworkandthriveinafast-pacedenvironment.
- AbilitytonavigateOneDrive,MicrosoftOffice,andTeamswouldbeanasset.
- Willingnessandabilitytolearnarecrucial.
- Keeninterestinfashion,denim,streetwear,andluxurybrands.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Bachelorsdegreeinarelateddisciplineorequivalentprofessionalexperience.Traininginproductdevelopment,technicaldesign,orpatternmakingispreferred.
- 3+ years of experience in apparel technical development or product development.
- Hands-onexperiencewithgarmentmeasurementsandPOM.
- ProficiencyinusingAdobeIllustratorandAdobePhotoshop.
- ProficiencyinusingMicrosoftExcel.
- Excellentcommunicationskills.
- Knowledgeorexperienceinfittings.
- Abilitytoworkinmetricandimperial,includingfractions,wouldbeanasset.
