We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our Maintenance Department and help keep our shops looking and operating their best. As a Painter, you will responsible for completing interior and exterior painting and finishing work across all properties managed by the company. This role supports property upkeep, renovations, and general maintenance while ensuring high‑quality workmanship, safety, and minimal disruption to occupants. This is a mobile position that will involve travelling to various shop locations throughout Greater Vancouver and you will play a role in ensuring our shops remain safe, functional, and looking sharp.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, filling, and priming

- Paint interior and exterior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, trim, doors, railings, and fences

- Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment as required

- Repair minor drywall, plaster, wood, and surface imperfections prior to painting





- Select and mix paint and materials to match colours and finishes as needed

- Maintain clean and safe work areas before, during, and after completing jobs

- Follow company safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Work collaboratively with maintenance staff, contractors, and property managers

- Complete work orders within timelines and report maintenance issues observed on site

- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored

Qualifications

- Proven experience - minimum of 3 years-as a painter in property maintenance, construction, or renovations

- Knowledge of surface preparation, materials, and painting techniques

- Ability to produce consistent, high‑quality finishes with attention to detail

- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple work orders

- Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Flexibility to travel daily within the Greater Vancouver area

- Scissor Lift Operator experience would be a bonus.

- The candidate must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian citizen.
