Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Pricing Analyst to join our team in a dynamic, cross-functional role supporting inventory management, pricing, and sales operations. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain, product management, and commercial support. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing inventory levels, supporting sales initiatives to move products, and maintaining accurate pricing across company systems. Over time, the role will expand into vendor reporting, data analysis, and broader supply chain initiatives.

This is a full time permanent role, in office located at 490 Elgin Mills Rd E Richmond Hill, ON L4C 0L8

Key Responsibilities Inventory Optimization

- Proactively identify in-stock alternatives for backordered items and collaborate with the sales team to offer available solutions and reduce unnecessary purchase orders.
- Monitor slow-moving inventory (SMI) and dead stock through weekly reporting, identifying opportunities to improve inventory turns.
- Identify opportunities to transfer inventory to locations where demand is stronger or where product is more likely to sell through.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving overall inventory efficiency.

Sales Support

- Support the sales team in moving slow-moving inventory by identifying customers who have historically purchased specific products.
- Share sales opportunities with the sales team and assist with customer outreach where appropriate.
- Provide product support and recommendations to assist sales representatives in identifying alternative products or materials.

Order & eCommerce Support

- Review eCommerce orders to identify potential customer ordering errors where an incorrect product may have been selected.
- Confirm customer requirements and recommend appropriate in-stock alternatives before new product purchases are initiated.

Pricing Support

- Build and maintain pricing spreadsheets to support accurate and consistent pricing across the business.




- Process price change requests from the sales team.
- Ensure pricing updates are accurately reflected in the ERP system.
- Communicate price changes to relevant internal teams.
- Monitor and manage the pricing group inbox ([email protected]).
- Manage manufacturer price increase notifications and execute corresponding ERP updates.
- Create and maintain pricing resources, documentation, and reference materials.
- Over time, take ownership of monthly vendor chargeback submissions, POS reporting, and pricing data analysis.

Cross-Department Coordination

- Act as a liaison between purchasing, sales, and operations to identify inventory efficiencies and better leverage existing stock.
- Work closely with operations teams to address inventory concerns and discrepancies.
- Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving supply chain processes and operational efficiency.

Product & Project Support

- Provide reporting, product data updates, and analytical support to the Product and Pricing team.
- Assist with internal projects related to inventory optimization, pricing analysis, and supply chain improvements.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
- Highly motivated with an interest in learning multiple facets of the business
