Business Intelligence Analyst (1-Year Contract)

? Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

? $65,000 – $75,000 + bonus

HireLoft Recruitment is partnering with a growing, performance-driven organization to bring on a Business Intelligence Analyst for a 12-month contract.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with data while also contributing to broader business decisions across finance and operations.

? What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and evolve core reporting used across finance, commercial, and operational teams

• Design and build dashboards that simplify complex data and improve visibility for stakeholders

• Analyze revenue, margins, and key performance drivers to support planning and decision-making

• Work with large datasets from multiple systems and ensure accuracy and consistency of outputs

• Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful insights

• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and reduce manual processes through automation

• Support ongoing improvements to data structure, reporting frameworks, and analytics capabilities

• Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects tied to business performance





✅ What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related function

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets

• Experience working with financial or operational data in a business setting

• Familiarity with data preparation tools (Power Query or equivalent) is a strong plus

• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
