About the Opportunity
- Lead the development of the annual operating budget, multi-year operating plans, and corporate financial forecasts for Hospital Operations and Academics, incorporating scenario planning and risk analysis.
- Oversee financial performance management by ensuring timely, accurate, and value-added reporting, insights, and advisory support for programs.
- Provide direction and oversight to Business Partners to deliver consistent, high-quality financial planning and analysis, leveraging an Integrated Consultancy model and collaborating closely with cross functional teams.
- Deliver strategic financial guidance for business cases, new service models & funding proposals.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and proactive identification and mitigation of financial risks.
- Monitor academic grant activity and growth at a corporate level, assessing operational impacts and long term financial sustainability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Provide financial advice and challenge leaders to identify efficiencies.
- Lead, coach,



and develop a high performing team by setting clear expectations.
- Contribute to corporate initiatives and special projects, including system implementations and organizational transformation efforts.

About You
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation (CMA, CGA, CA) or Masters in a related field
- Minimum (7) years' experience in financial planning
- Strong knowledge of hospital operations
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and system/process implementations
- Strong systems and technical acumen
- Knowledge and experience with research grant activity
- Comfortable leading through ambiguity and enabling change
- Strong analytical ability with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills; exposure to SAP
- Strong leadership & communication skills

Salary Range

$120,000 - $140,000 / year
