Senior Manager, Client Proposal Strategy - Global Transaction Banking (Bilingual Spanish/English)

About the Role
As the Bilingual (Spanish/English) Senior Manager - Client Proposal Strategy, you will write and create strategic client facing materials which includes RFx responses (RFP, RFI, RFQ), proactive sales driven proposals, PowerPoint presentations, pitchbooks, and treasury consultative documents. You will oversee the end to end creation of client facing material across the bank's International Banking footprint (Latin America & Caribbean) and across business units - corporate, commercial, and small business banking - to ensure delivery of tailored, competitive, consistent, and high quality proposals that comply with regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to a cross functional global team responsible for RFP creation, submission, and follow through, ensuring consistency in standards and messaging.
- Write concise, persuasive content that translates complex information into digestible material for a range of audiences.
- Draw on our content database and subject matter expert input to assemble documents based on sales managers' requirements, and assist in maintaining and elevating the database as new information is gathered.
- Manage accurate records on proposals and presentations, collecting debrief information for dissemination to relevant stakeholders.
- Complete detailed treasury consultative documents and identify potential new business opportunities or service improvements.
- Collaborate with sales teams and partners worldwide to contribute to the financial success of the Global Transaction Banking Sales team.
- Drive a global client centric culture that deepens client relationships and leverages broader bank relationships.
- Impact the effectiveness of RFP processes and large complex proposals.
- Collaborate with business units, product teams,
and SMEs to craft tailored, compelling proposals across Scotiabank's footprint.
- Maintain KPIs to measure RFP unit success and efficiency, including win rates, submission counts, turnaround times, and client feedback.
- Drive innovation within the RFP process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance client experience, and position Scotiabank to win key proposals.
- Operate in accordance with Scotiabank's risk culture, risk appetite, and operational controls, ensuring AML/ATF sanctions and conduct risk compliance.
- Support other duties as assigned by the Director & Head, Global Client Proposals & Content Strategy.
What You'll Bring
- Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written); ability to articulate complex banking concepts in natural language.
- Experience and understanding of Global Cash Management and ability to provide strategic guidance on delivering corporate cash management solutions.
- Knowledge of transactional banking services for large international businesses or proven ability to rapidly develop such expertise.
- 5+ years of related experience responding to RFPs within a bank, financial institution, or related finance industry.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Excellent written communication skills, with clarity, concision, and strong grammar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and a centralized content library; graphic design skills for technical writing are an asset.
- Self motivated with high organizational and stakeholder/project management skills; ability to manage resources, track deliverables, prioritize tasks, and drive multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Work Arrangement
- Hybrid, standard office based environment (minimum 4 days in office); non standard hours are a common occurrence.
