About the Opportunity

The Research Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of research projects conducted within Nova Scotia Health. This coordination includes the administration of the study/clinical trial, caring for the subjects participating in the study and the management of documents and data collected throughout the study period.

About You

- Degree or diploma in a related health profession (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy)
- Current registration with the relevant professional healthcare licensing organization
- CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification (required if shipping specimens)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet
- Proficiency in specialized technology programs related to the study
- Demonstrated clinical and assessment skills related to concussion and mild traumatic brain injury
- Experience providing education to patients and supports on concussion management and recovery preferred
- Familiarity with health records




- Knowledge of bookkeeping preferred
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Effective research and analytical thinking skills
- Robust negotiation, conflict resolution, and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary environment
- Minimum of two years' experience in the relevant health profession
- Clinical experience in neurology, brain injury, or concussion management preferred

Hours
- Long Assignment, Part-Time; 30 Hours Bi-Weekly
- May 2026 to May 2028, approximately 24 months

Compensation and Benefits

$36.85 - $46.06 Hourly
