Responsibilities

The Sport Scientist Student Placement is a developmental role at CSIO, ideally suited for a Master's or Ph.D. student with foundational experience in their field and an aspiration to pursue a career in high performance sport.

The role has the following core functions:

- Support our sport science team with service delivery




- Provide quality assurance for CSIO's high performance sport lab equipment, facilities, and operating procedures

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate technical ability and understanding of the scientific method (experimental design, data capture, data management, data analysis and reporting), the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and a passion for high performance sport every day in order to support performance enhancement and help athletes and coaches to thrive.
