Leads internal team operations, including AVP hiring and onboarding, team culture and socials, communications, and end-of-year planning.
Time Commitment
4 to 6 hours per week with additional time around events
Qualifications
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Enthusiastic with excellent time management skills
- Interested in hiring, mentorship, and training
- Passionate about creating a valuable team culture
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Previous experience on a conference or club committee is an asset
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Lead the fall hiring process and coordinate AVP onboarding and icebreakers
- Plan team-wide and small group socials throughout the year to build team culture
- Manage the AGM and room bookings for team meetings
- Build and maintain a feedback system, conduct regular check-ins with team members, and communicate updates to the broader team
- Plan the end-of-year retreat
- Facilitate internal team communications, including meeting agendas, status updates, and meeting minutes
- Collaborate with Co-Chairs and the executive team to build team motivation and morale
- Attend mandatory scheduled meetings with a prepared agenda
