Job description

Reporting to the Operations VP, the Production Program Director is the direct manager of the Site PPMs. They oversee the TOR local Program (Bombardier, Spares and Military including MV75), act as the site Process owner for the PPM function & represent the site within the global PPM community. They also serve as an escalation point for the Site PPMs and are part of the TOR Operations management team.

The Director manages the PPMs (Local Programs) with responsibilities such as:

- Empower the PPMs and promote the PPM function on the site.
- Coach, mentor, prioritize & challenge the PPMs in their role (ensure spare parts are considered).
- Manage the team and its administration (GPEC / Resource planning / Training).

Key responsibilities for continuous improvement of structural industrial performance (delivery, quality) include:

- Collect, consolidate & assess global risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Manage and update monthly OvRMs during transfers.




- Ensure action plans for non performance are consistent and robust.
- Participate in setting manufacturing and assembly plans, ensuring alignment with rules (buffer stock, buffer time, production plan buffer target).
- Propose evolutions to the industrial scheme based on performance & future risks.
- Coordinate with the Program to propose protection plans for high & low scenarios & associated customer logistics conditions.
- Lead WHAT IF scenario assessments.
- Act as focal point for internal or external audits relating to PPM procedures, processes & organization.
- Ensure standards, industrial policy, industrial committee decisions, ESR & ISR actions, RED / BLACK, etc., are shared and applied within the site PPM team.
- Organize and sponsor local monthly PPRMs for all programs.
- For local programs, construct and consolidate MTP, frame budgets & define the vision of industrial scheme evolution and risks.
- Coordinate escalation processes for local programs and recovery plans under escalation.
- Communicate, facilitate discussions & decisions with other functions when needed.
