Drive impactful communications strategies as a Strategic Communications Advisor. Support public-facing initiatives and collaborate closely with divisional partners to enhance community engagement and visibility. In this full-time role, you will focus on planning and execution for assigned service areas within the Strategy & Relationships Centre of Excellence. Your responsibilities include providing expert counsel, managing high-profile communications projects, and developing integrated strategies aligned with corporate goals. The position requires a strong commitment to relationship-building and proactive communications planning. Key Responsibilities:
• Act as primary communications advisor to assigned departments • Provide strategic counsel on high-profile initiatives • Develop annual communications workplans and project strategies • Manage planning and execution of communications initiatives • Create content for public education materials and digital platforms Requirements: • Post-secondary education in communications or related field • Proven experience in complex communication environments • Background in infrastructure or public relations is a plus • Robust writing and editing skills for diverse media • Excellent organizational and relationship management skills Excel in developing communications strategies that enhance public perception and support community initiatives effectively.
