On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow Platform for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow Platform - Job Description:
This project aims to develop an enterprise release management process by leveraging the ServiceNow Digital Product Release Module and redesigning custom application workflows from a legacy ServiceNow instance. The role involves supporting the transition and integration of applications like Security Advisory Management and Threat Risk Assessment into the new system.
Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow Platform - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business/functional requirements.
• Act as the liaison between business teams and technical teams.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and assist in creating user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze and improve business processes using Lean methodologies.
• Work within Agile frameworks to manage and prioritize backlogs.
• Facilitate and support daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate to evolve DevOps practices for smooth deployment processes.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to enhance business operations and systems.
• Conduct system testing and validation.
Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow Platform - Mandatory Skills:
• Proven experience (8+ years) as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
• 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience on ServiceNow platform preferably in Release Management (DPR) and ServiceNow Custom Scoped Application with exposure to DevOps toolchains and automation workflows
• 5+ years of experience producing high-quality documentation for integrations or technical solutions.
• CSA certified system administration.
• Solid experience working in agile/Lean or hybrid environments.
Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow Platform – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL foundation and Release and Change Management processes.
• Experience with system integration and data analysis.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Project Management knowledge.
• Business Analysis Certification (IIBA®).
Business Systems Analyst – ServiceNow Platform – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business need.
