About the Role
In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience. You will be passionate about keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best‑in‑class recruitment shop.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle technical recruiting process. This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers
- Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to source top talent
- Provide a great end‑to‑end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers
- Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent
- Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a full life‑cycle recruiter in a corporate environment
- 4+ years of experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies
- 2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and Google x‑ray searches of X or GitHub
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification
- Experience independently partnering with leadership on hiring initiatives
- Experience creating and updating talent maps
- Ability to influence and drive results in a rapid‑paced environment
- Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
