Reporting to the Chief Power Engineer, this role entails operating and maintaining the site Power Plant while performing various trades duties. You’ll utilize the Building Automation System (BAS) to monitor and adjust temperatures and conditions, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong communication skills and teamwork are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain boilers and generators
• Utilize BAS for monitoring and adjustments
• Execute trades duties across multiple disciplines
• Maintain safety regulations and compliance
• Effectively communicate within the team
Requirements:
• 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate required
• 2 years recent relevant experience
• Class 5 BC Drivers License needed
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Excellent physical ability to perform duties
